No , did not put outside when was cold . Warmed up for the last couple days . Changed it over to the Helix 5 . Maybe over the weekend .
Toss it in the freezer for a while.

I have used my Helix 7 G2N on Lake Erie, Saginaw bay and lake Simcoe in Ontario with zero problems. I have not updated my unit so it probably has outdated software.
Are you letting it boot up long enough? It should go to the next page, that says press exit too continue. The first menu is to take you to the system status. i believe.
Once it says "system status " it's stuck , cannot get out of it . Clicking the "exit " does nothing . The only way out is shutting it down , tried it many times restarting . Same results .
