Atlas jack plate on a Eyra

I am in the process of purchasing a 2017 Eyra with a Merc 250 Pro Xs & a Atlas hydraulic jack plate. This is my 1st boat with a hydraulic plate & am wondering what settings you guys are running your motor at? What is a good starting setting ( not running much shallow water ) Thanks

2016 Erya, 250 ProXS and Atlas. If I run my 3 blade Fury it’s best at 2-4 on the gauge depending on water conditions and if you’re running WOT. I’ve heard some running lower with the Fury 3 too.
With a 4 blade Bravo XS I can do 5 on the gauge. I’ve had no luck with any higher than that no matter the prop.
You should get a number of responses on this and maybe some better advice but that’s what I’ve seen. I can run 78 or so loaded at 4 on the gauge with a Fury 3 26.

I have a2018 Eyra with 250 proxs and dual poles. Seem to get best performance with the plate all the way down.

2017 Eyra, 250 ProXS, 2 power poles, dual console, MK 112, Atlas jackplate...Fury 26p/3 blade worked by Ronnie Gilbert will run 76 with tournament partner, full wells and full gas tanks. Best holeshot is now with (3) 5/16" holes drilled next to vent holes on prop with plate at 7 and then best top end is with plate a 4-5. Good places to start but every boat is slightly different and you will need seat time to dial yours in. I am sure that if a couple of different people climbed in mine they would probably embarrass me by driving mine much better than I can. Good luck

Run a 2018 Eyra/250 ProXS with Atlas. Running at 1600-2200ft elevation and running a 25P Fury 3. I usually have it at 5 on holeshot and drop it down right as its breaking over. Run it normally at 4 on the gauge at WOT. Summer time runs 5700-5800 without pushing it to 77+ and winter it is running 5800-5900 before i ease up the rpms at 78+pending load. Loves the cooler weather here no doubt, holeshot suffers some in the 100-120 degree temps but top-end is always similar with just me. Partner loaded it will obviously run better in cooler temps.

I run a 2018 Eyra/250 ProXS. Dual power poles, 112 ultrex and way too much gear. Boat runs best with the plate all the way down. I run a 25 fury in the warm months and a 26 fury in the winter.
