How can I get the aluminum piece out that goes over gas tank and under seats
There are screws in the outside edges of the bottom and the top screws are found by opening your live well lids. Did my carpet last winter.

3-4 screws starboard of drivers seat through carpet going straight downward. Run your hand along the carpet just to the outside of the drivers seat and you’ll find them. Same situation next to the passengers seat. Then go to rear deck and open port/starboard compartments and live well lids. There’s 1 screw in the forward side of each about in the middle of each opening. You don’t have to remove seats.
