It's been months since I've used my boat. Updated the unit while on the water yesterday. Issues that I have now that were not present prior or perhaps simply things that I noticed:
Display
- No display of moon phases (not super important)
- No display of phone status, incoming calls or messages (I did pair the phone correctly after the update)
Readings
- If I pull the trolling motor to make a run then re-deploy at the next spot; the depth reading is in the thousands of feet, will not recover true depth reading. I have to restart the unit to get a true depth reading. (TM mounted Mega transducer)
Adjustable Settings
- I seem to have lost the ability to fine tune the Hz range of the different imaging? This may just be something I overlooked I'm not sure.
Mapping / GPS
- When I switch to the GPS view I see my prior tracks, routes and waypoints along with the lake contours; but within a milisecond.....all prior tracks "glitch out" and disappear along with the contour overlay. It's almost like the unit remembers that data and obviously has it stored somewhere, but then it decides to not display it.
I know Wayne and Doug have probably answered these questions somewhere here, so I will apologize in advance if I'm just churning up discussion that has been explained in depth. Thanks in advance to anyone with answers.
