    Longest rod in a Sabre rod locker

    What's the longest rod you've stored *under* the rod rack, on the rod locker floor of a newer model Sabre?

    Please specify whether the rod was bent/straight when stored.

    I can get a 7' 11" rod in my 2012 Sabre FTD.

    I do not have the rod tubes in my 2017 sabre and I can get a 7'11" in there easy.

    Several 7’11” rods in my Sabre right now. And one 8 footer. I did remove the rod tubes. Just be sure to use rod socks.
