Just trying to see what other falcon owners have out there. I have an ez lock 8” on my 2018 F205 now, but I’m about to get a bobs action jack. Any falcon owners with hydraulic jack plates? What setbacks are you running? Hows your speeds and handles? Any suggestions? Iv got a bravo 4 24p and will hit 70 but my ez lock is set way to low.
I had an 8’’ z lock on my 17. I had to raise it quite a bit and it wasn’t very easy to move. I’ve just got a 6’’ hydraulic atlas now and really like it. Hole shot is a little better. I run 73-74 pretty much all the time.
I’m running a 4” atlas hydro on my 205 with a G2. Depending on what motor your running will determine setback requirements. The verado and g2 have 4-6” of built in setback on the bracket. Opti and SHO don’t, so you can get away with a bigger jackplate.
