I got a 2012 mercury 4 stroke 75hp. Just replace my lower unit oil over the weekend. The oil cane out a bit cloudy. Should I be worry? At first I though is water but I sat the oil in a bottle for 2 day and I don’t see the separation??

I don't know how quick it will separate. Just re-sealed my lower unit. I let it sit for 30 days due to cold weather and rain, and when I finally had time to drain and fix, the oil was STILL emulsified. Not much water in there, but it was leaking. Used to be that the synthetic gear lube from merc would not stay emulsified, but it seems that some new additive changed this. Probably to prevent water from pooling badly in the bottom and causing bearing/gear rust?
