    Vault trailer hubs

I have a 2011 618 with the vault hubs. Haven’t had any trouble yet. Would love to know how they have worked for other people. Any maintenance tips would be appreciated. I haven’t done anything to them since new.

No maintenance according to Vault. I just replaced the inside seal on one wheel. It's really a simple setup.

I have a 09 and hadn’t had any problems till this year. You better keep a close eye on them cause when they decide to go it happens quickly.

I don't think its just going blow all the grease out. But they will start slinging a little when the seal gives up When one of my seals gave out I pulled it 50 miles home. When I took it apart it was still full of grease, just not pressurized or leak proof. If you had the parts you could rework the whole assy in 30 to 45 minutes in a parking lot. They aren't complicated.

There is no reason to fix something that is not broken. These are sealed systems that require no maintenance and until they leak why break the seal. The real seal on mine started leaking on the way down to FL this year. Unlike regular grease bearings, there was nothing more than a little leaking on the inside of the wheel and not smoke pouring off the wheel. Finished the 800 mile drive and fixed it after the trip. It has been 4 years and countless miles before a single problem.
