Heading to the Pain Clinic in Mt Home this morning. Have a 10:00 am appt for an injection in my back. T12/L1 disk is bad. Hoping this will help. If not, neurosurgeon wants to do another fusion

Thanks Gene. Doc gave me an epidural. Stung like the dickens. Too soon to tell if its done any good. We'll see, but I'm not optimistic at this point in time.

I sure hope it works for you better than mine did. I had surgery a week after my first one. If you’re putting off surgery, don’t. It helped me big time.

I am trying to put off surgery. I've already had eight lumbar surgeries and don't want another one. Tried four weeks of physical therapy recently. Helped my core strength but did nothing for the pain. Three injections so far, one to each of the SI joints and one to the thoracic/lumbar region. Neurosyrgeon is still trying to diagnose the source of the pain. My back is a mess going all the way back to an injury in high school football about a hundred years ago. lol

Thanks Jeff. Most of these don't last more than a few days. More diagnostic than therapeutic. Helps to ID the bad disk or whatever.
