    Nitro cover 2015 Z7 with Ultrex

    I am going to install an Ultrex on my 2015 z7, I’ve noticed that it sticks up quite a bit more than my X5. Does anyone know if the OEM cover will fit with an Ultrex or will I need to take it to a custom tarp shop for an alteration?

    I have a 2014 Z7 with a 45" Ultrex. The factory cover will work, but it is a huge pain to adjust everything to get it to work. And even then, the cover barely reaches the rub rail on the starboard side. You are better off having it altered. I tried to tow last spring and had to stop a few times because the cover kept riding up. I eventually took it off about halfway into my 100 mile trip. I didn't want to damage the cover or the boat.

    Thanks! That’s what I was thinking, but wasn’t sure. Been having some issues with the zip pockets on the side as well might as well get those replaced while I’m there. Thanks again!
