    2012 Pro XS 225

    Any ideas why motor dies when I put it in gear. Jetta Marina can't determine cause. Nothing shows up on diagnostics. Starts fine always...put it in gear dies. Frustrating part is it does not do it all the time. If I spend and entire day on the lake it might happen 20% of the starts. Any help would be appreciated.

    Might try the 3L forum (what your engine is) 2 below this one and be sure to include your engine serial number.
