    Pro ET

Anyone running one on a similar set up as mine? I just bought a 26p and was curious what to expect from it. I may end up having it pitched up to a 27. Who would be the guru on these props? Mark has done all my props since '05. Thanks.

I owned a 28P and 30P .. They over vented too much on my rig/motor. Might work great for you.

I picked up a stock 30p Pro ET last month unfortunately it’s winter up here so will be able to report back in April. Hard water sucks!

    Edit crap just noticed you’re running a 20xd. I’m running a 21xdc.

i don't have a promax, but i have a 20XD with a 300XS and i LOVE my pro ET. I tried a 26-28-30 on my rig. For some reason the 30 felt like it was a different prop, didn't spool up as much and was slugish and didn't really topend. It's about 6-8mph slower then my 30 Performer ET and holeshot slower, accelerated slower then my performer. Which was a bummer because i had high hopes for the 30 PRO ET because of how well my 26 and 28 ran.

I run a pro ET 90% of the time. The pro ET has great bow lift, when i'm just curzing around i can get the boat high out of the water and get great fuel mileage.

The pro ET is also the best handling prop of any prop i tried, and i tried ALOT.

The only thing the PRO ET isn't the best at is topend, its really good but the Performers BC or ET are faster.

Here is a vid of my rig 5 years ago with a 28 pro ET. That's 2 guys with a light tournament load, pulls HARD to 6200rpm (92mph) then falls on its face (soft limiter at 6200)

Nice! I'm hoping the 26 will run similar for me. I want 0-80 with a quickness. I'm not really concerned with top end as much.

It will work, but if you want quick acceleration and great hole shot, try a Bravo 1 or a Bravo XS, different animal but I have a 21RDC with a 300XS and for a fishing prop I run a 25 Bravo XS 0 to 80 in a hurry but I get to the limiter too, the Pro RT is a great prop, I have a 30p and it ran 92.8,

I believe you about the bravo, and I've thought about one, but I understand it to be more suited for the 3.0 ltrs and bigger/heavier boats and not so much for a 2.5 ltr on a 1025 lb hull. I don't think I could turn that big of diameter to 6500 with out dropping down more in pitch, thus losing speed.

The pro ET works amazing with a lighter load when you are heavy it doesnt bite well out of the hole,I found jacking the motor high to get on plane was the way to go then drop the motor back down running , if you do not have a hydrolic plate it might not be a great all around prop. I ran a 28.

When it comes to a 20 with a 2.5 you cant get a better prop than a lightning et or a bc performer.

You might try a Signature Eagle 4 if you can find one, less expensive than a Pro ET, good props

Go with the 3 blade man. Leave the 4 blades to the heavier rigs

Never could get my 20xd to drive well with a three blade prop. But it was a 3 liter. The 32 pro ET ran good on it and drove great. It was not good with a heavy boat When I had a passenger.

I've never had a 3 blade prop that drove or handled well on any boat I've had. I've always liked the 4 blades better.

Im just the opposite. 4 blades seem like training wheels it takes a 3 blade to get up and run loose

I never could get a 3 blade to lift the transom so the boat could run flat as disigned....

The picture in my signature is a 3 blade hydromotive running in the mid 90’s. They run flat with plenty of lift on my boat. Guess its all in how theyre worked
