Wings cooked from frozen or thawed ?

I cook my wings in an air fryer and am curious if you all cook them from frozen or thawed. I have been cooking them from thawed so far and they do turn out good but I'm wondering if I can get them crispier if I cook them from frozen.

    Thoughts ?

Are you using the baking powder in with the coating mix?

Ive done a light dusting of baking powder alone and ive also mixed it into the breading. Just depends on what I have on hand that day. Works both ways IMO.

I will add that I tried crushed up pork rinds the other day and that was surprisingly good.

Frozen, no breading. "Thaw" for 5 minutes in the air fryer, open up, drain the juice from the bottom pan, coat them liberally with the dry seasoning rub of your choice, then cook as normal. Sauce them up when they are finished. To me, every bit as good as thawed and much easier.

Oh, and final 5 minutes of cooking, I crank temp up to 100%, crisps them up nicely ...
