    Fastbass Marine TV -- XB21 250XS vs. XB21 300XS DBR

    I have always been a fan of the Racing 250XS. Probably because despite owning a 300 I have spend a lot of time looking at the back of one. Even with the DBR tune and a light flywheel I still look at the back of one when running the same prop and pitch.

    Mercury Racing hit a home run with he 250XS with 1.75 lower.

    300XS DBR with 1.62's vs. 250XS 1.75's. Not a race, just two boats taking off heading to the next fishing hole.

    I don’t understand Mercury’s logic. 250XS 276 hp 300XS 305. Why didn’t I get that 10 percent when I bought a 300?

    You did, but that pesky compressor eats up 25-27 HP.
