    Jackplate question

I’m thinking of putting a 12” plate on my 21xdc with 2” spacers? To save money.... good idea or spend the extra and just buy a 14?

Surely a 14 is cheaper than a 12 with spacers? Id go with 14 if you want a 14. Way too much unnecessary hardware with spacers

Do you have a rapid jack? If so, you can call Steve at Hydrodynamics and he will make you the back plates to make it 14".

Money isn’t tight... but if I can save 50% and get the same outcome? Why not. If there is a difference I do want to go the best route

More bolts to break and not look like an afterthought is the only issues

No extra bolts, just longer bolts for the spacer.

With that being said, I'm running a 12" plate with a 2" spacer because it weighs less then just a 14" plate.

A 2" spacer isn't much, you don't even really notice it.
