Not much fishing stuff but a good way to kill a day. I can still afford a $14 ticket. I need some new socks anyway

Philly Expo center(Oaks) has a fishing show on Feb. 22,23,24th. They haven't post a list of exhibitors yet.

Not what it used to be, most fishing venders cannot justify the cost off a space. It really changed in the last 15 years.

Yes,it's not the "Philly Outdoor" Expo.anymore. It's strictly just a fishing Expo. I think they only have half the hall as there is something else going on at the same time.

For those that don't know - park at BPS and take the shuttle. You won't pay for parking and the bus drops you at the Maclay St entrance and you won't have a line to get in.

Yes, although I don’t know if it is BPS, the show, or the mall that set it up.

A number of years ago BPS pulled out of the show. The shuttle now leaves from the upper lot instead of in front of BPS.

Last year was the first time i was there in over ten years. I took my seven year old son because school was canceled. He had a blast. This year a buddy and i went. The only way I'll go again is if it snows and school is canceled...

Last year was not very exciting. I did get a chance to meet Roland Martin which was pretty cool. Had a nice conversation with him and Bobby Uhrig. The year before, my buddy and I had the pleasure of talking to Hank Parker for probably 30+ minutes randomly by the Tracker/Ranger boat section. We got to talking about the 1000 Islands and he was texting Bobby Williams for pictures of fish caught up there to show us. He talked with us as if he knew us for years! Just a true class act and an awesome conversation. Outside of those two experiences, most of the fishing stuff is just okay.
