    Snow goose hunting

I've been invited on a snow goose hunt in Ill. mid February. Is sounds like a great time. I've never been on one before, is this one of those hunts a guy doesn't want to miss? What should one expect? How many shells? My buddy mentioned it's $175/day two day hunt.

Lots of shells if it's a good hunt. No limit during the spring hunt.

How many hunter’s? That is a good price.
take your ear protection muffs and ear plugs-they use electronic calls all day that will drive you batsh@t crazy.
If it is good it can be great shooting.
I would say try it once. Give us a report.
    good luck.

Buddy from NY did a snow goose hunt out there a few years ago. It all depends on the weather. First day the group 12+ guys shot like 23 birds all day. That night weather changed and the next day they shot 150+. Guess it mostly depends on bird numbers, weather, group size etc etc.
If you have never hunted the white devils you need to do it at least once. It is the most exciting and frustrating hunt you will probably go on.
