    I use mine almost every tournament for that exact reason. Launch the boat, power poles down, wait. If there's wind I would have to position my boat perfectly to not swing into someone. The spawn is where you absolutely need them! Run to your spot poles down and get that big girl, then move to the next stop repeat.

    My area has a lot of shallow water, I can see where they could be very useful, but for the cost of them, it's hard to justify for the convenience.
