Lake Shafer has some good smallmouth fishing and Indiana Beach amusement park is right there on the lake.
Webster, barbee, loon all are nice lakes to vacation at. Activities are limited though.
Tri lakes are close to ft Wayne, which does offer things to do. Most all the lakes up in northern third have decent fishing.

If you are fishing with kids panfish fishing should be good at round and cedar lakes.
