    What ramp usage fees? I figure corp lakes was a federal deal and don't know of any state fees.

    Man it's getting crazy for the fed and state government trying to come up with more money somehow. They are flat taxing everything it seems like. I don't mind the taxes on tournaments and boat ramps as they are recreational in nature. You can tax a larger population at a lower rate for entertainment/recreation events. If you can't pay, don't go----its not affecting you feeding the family.

    I think it's crazy when somebody shows up with their little irs badge with a local game warden escorting them wanting to know when the tournaments were at that ramp so they could collect jackpot tournament taxes. It happened at one small local lake boat ramp here, but the fellow that owned the marina told him he didn't know when they had them because fishermen just show up & decide to have a tournament if there was enough boats interested.
