I will be shocked if I get anywhere above 72 with my rig....Talked to a buddy who has one with the 24 and he says it gets to 77 quick but starts walking pretty bad. Said it has more left and thinks it'll hit 80 once dialed in.

Another thing I thought of is seems like I recall reading the Mercury four stroke and Mercury two stroke have different lower unit gear ratios. That may be the reason why they propped a 250 HP motor with what seems like a low pitch prop.
