NE SoDak is great in the Spring and Fall. I bet it’s good in the Summer, too. I only go there when it’s 50 degrees and blowing 30 MPH. Lots of smallies and the occasional walleye on bass gear. Have been going for 10 years. Great fishing, people, and watering holes.

I think it's blowing 30 and 50 degrees any time someone launches a boat in NESD! I remember one calm morning...but it ended in short order!

Hopefully we get a thaw soon. I don't need the river flooding in April. That cuts in on fishing time.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it now.......good luck fishing the river this spring! With as much snow as we have here in the metro, from Red Wing all the way down it's even worse.

^^^ That blue sky and soft water looks awesome not to mention the fish. Don't worry, we're manning the snow blowers in your absence.

I was wondering if you were going this year. I haven't been to TR for a long time. It's a beautiful lake this time of year!

On a side note...be thankful you're not on TN river lake...those lakes are a mess right now!

Got 3 weeks of work now...the back to the gulf for more action.

    Good luck...have fun!
