    is this considered a decent image

    I'm just learning and am wondering if this image is considered good or could be better . are those fish by the cursor please give me what suggestions you got . These images are from a 999. Thanks The second one is a foundation from a old turkey ranch Other settings would be sensitivity 12 contrast 10 chart speed 4 max mode 200 hz 455 hz water very dirty visibility about 6 inches.

    First screen shot has the Sensitivity too high for the conditions. Second one looks about right.

    You can have the whole screen width utilized for SI by turning on SI Readouts. You will get some digital readouts overlayed on the SI view.

    I had a 999. Images are ok. As Wayne said the first one is a little hot. X2 on si readouts.

    You can always use the 800 Khz with the 999 if you want sharper images.....you will loose range though.

    I think the max range for 800 Khz was listed at 125 feet but it will depend a lot on water conditions, bottom composition and depth of the water.
