    One transducer / Two units?

    I have purchased (2) Garmin ECHOMAP PLUS73SV + TRANSDUCER (CV52HW-TM) units.
Is it possible to run (1) transom mounted transducer to (2) units thru networking using the NEMA 2000 connection? If this is possible, does Garmin offer a NEMA 2000 cable with female ends to connect to each unit directly?
If there is a different methode altogether what is it?
Or am I just better off running the front unit with it's own transducer attached to the trolling motor?

Different method. To share sonar for two units all you need is an ethernet cable
You can still mount both transducers and in the software choose which one to look at, either both units same xd or different xd.

Thanx, I was looking @ that cable, but the back of the unit has that connection listed for panoptix. If I upgraded down the road to panoptix I wont have a open port for it?

It is still for ethernet... if you do upgrade to Panoptix you will need to get the network hub (GMS 10)......
