Had 2 crash at my house in ny for a week after a tourney. I went with one of them to Champlain to fun fish for a few days. He wore me out on stuff I would’ve never found in thousand years.

Had one fun fish with me last week and he crashed at my rv park for a day till he headed to Orlando. Got some free baits to try!

    NOT that kind of pro!

If Elite Series ever comes back to Smith Mountain Lake I'd be more than happy to let a couple of pros bunk at my place. I even have two extra dock slips on the water they could use, that would be convenient.

Yes, I let a few friends stay at my lake place prior to selling it.
They are usually VERY happy to not be at a hotel, campground, etc.
If you know them, I wouldn't hesitate to offer the visit.

The popularity of using air b and b is strong on the FLW and BASS tour. 3-4 guys go together and rent a house. It's a lot more secure, private and easier than getting a motel. Plus when 3-4 people go together its cheaper than renting hotel rooms. If I were to travel I would look at using... https://www.airbnb.com/a/?af=4372003...SAAEgLTU_D_BwE

I had four Elites one year and three Elites the next year stay at my lake house. The second year, one of the fishermen won the tournament.

It was a pleasure getting to know them. They like staying out of sight where they can work on their tackle, etc. into the night in peace. There were no signature seekers or anyone bothering them.

Some of the Elites try to stay together when they're on the road, and they prefer to cook their own food, etc. They're a very laid back bunch.

Had a few flw, and bass guys here at my house. I enjoyed the company and forged a few long term relationships with 2 of them. The others were just your "buddy" untill after the event. Look at the opportunity and see if it makes sense for you and your family and make a decision. If i lived on a lake for limited time it would be most beneficial. My situation was different as i have lived on the lake for 25 years.

I wouldn’t think it would be to bad. They would probably fish all day. Show up for a meal and then would probably wanna borrow your wife a few minutes then go to sleep. Would be gone before you wake up the next morning.

I would imagine that given BASS's new rules of no information sharing, they wouldn't want you in the house while they were there that way there would be no questions as to them getting lake information from you.
