    2004 201 in dash finder.

Has anyone ever found a finder except the old Lowrance 520 to fit flush in the in-dash hole? I don’t want anything not flush mounted in the dash, but I like a small unit as a backup and to use for depth/speed when running without having to look to the side for my ram mounted unit.

thats exactly what i do. have a 500 series HB in the hole connected a ducer that is epoxied inside the hull. Gives me on plane depth reading while running.

558 or something. they are all the same external size. A 700 would also fit i think, bigger screen same form factor.

I need it to have GPS.
Prolly just gonna stick with my LMS 520 for now and hope it will last another season. Dont want to switch to Humminbird for crosstalk issues with my main HB units.
Was gonna buy a new 520 unit, but everyone wants too much money to put into a unit that may have the same issues I am having with the one I have.

Good point on using different gps brand to prevent cross talk.
I know when I had a 997 si on bow and 1197 at console I had no interference issues. Replaced the 997 on bow with 1197 and watched my depth bounce up/down from cross talk.
