    Panfish Reels

Listed a really clean set in the Classified Section.
Thought it a good idea to give this forum a heads up.

Anything Shimano in 500 series is getting hard to find.

A few years back I walked into our local pawn shop in Pryor. (Green Country pawn in case you are familiar) I always go straight to the fishing section which is pretty weak usually. He has a shimano sedona 500 on a Falcon Bucco 7 ft light action. I almost didnt even check the price figuring it would have been pretty much retail but I reached for the tag and seen $16.95. I went up to the owner who I have gotten to know and said this can not be right. He said they dont make their money from fishing poles and usually they dont sell and also said nobody in there knew to research it as anything other than the usual cheap combos they get. I bought it and posted the deal in the lounge being proud of what I found and got hammered for buying a stolen rod and reel. I still use this rod and reel today and its still in above excellent shape.
