    Skeeter tongue step

I was wondering if anybody has seen the Skeeter tongue step. If you have what do you think of it? I am thinking of buying one.

my 2018 zx250 trailer has one and it is really convenient but if your balance is not as good as it once was i suggest you get one with a grab handle like basscat puts on their trailers.

I use mine. Not saying it’s a game changer but since it’s there I use it

Without measuring I would say 4x16. There’s a very slight flex to them when you walk up them.

I use mine all the time but be careful and think about putting higher grade bolts on the mount. I’m 6’6” about 230 so I’m not too heavy.... My forward bolt broke and the entire unit swung down taking me with it. Picked up some quality replacement hardware and it’s been fine since then. Don’t know what grade bolts they use but it sure didn’t hold me. Every time I step on it I have flashbacks... Good luck!

No sir, the factory two step assembly that came on my 2017 FX21LE. The forward bolt closest to the tounge snapped on me and the unit rotated.

Looks like from the pic that they are kind of under the bow a little too far for my taste?

Maybe just the pic making it looki like that?

My best friend has one on his zx225 trailer and he hates it. He launches by himself quite a bit and says its a huge pita because its in his way pushing the boat off the trailer. He has actually talked about removing it.

I’ve used one several times on a buddy’s FX21LE. We both prefer my Trick Steps.

I guess you could but it would have to be a very bad load. You’d probably be up on the fenders to hit it

My 2018 Skeeter that is that exact color has the step and I like and use it. It would be nice to have a handle though.
