    Question Lodging for Sam Rayburn

Do any of you guys have any recommendations for lodging on Sam Rayburn? Ive never been before and our club normally takes an away tournament trip every year, and looking at fishing here. We normally try to find somewhere with a couple of cabins/houses or big motel where we can all stay. Normally have 10-20 members go.

    Thanks

Better check the conditions on Rayburn before making plans. Rayburn is a serious mess right now.

This will be around May. Will the water levels be ok by then?

Probably, but no one knows how much more rain is coming. We’re currently getting twice the norm. The water level is easily obtainable on the web, just keep an eye on it. Call Rayburn Country for rental homes or the motel, which is very nice.

May 10-11 is Texas team trial and there will be 300 or more so you may want to stay away that weekend. I booked rooms at Rayburn inn, check it out.

Beat up is an understatement although right now all the tournaments are being cancelled so the fish will get a little bit of a break this year.

I've heard about that place. The owners keep the fridge full of beer and steaks! Pretty awesome I think.
