    Glass-Infused Aluminum Hybrid

Vexus uses the term "Glass-Infused Aluminum Hybrid" a lot. I just watched the video and what was mentioned was that the consoles, panels, livewells, etc. were all made of fiberglass. Is this what is meant when you say "Glass-Infused Aluminum Hybrids" or does it include what the hull of the boat is made of also? Is the hull 100% aluminum or is it a Glass-Infused material used which could be interpreted as Aluminum and fiberglass layers?

As I understand it. THIS^^^ is what they mean.

And here we all are talking about Vexus, so the marketing is working. Sales are said to be hot for the product, and I bet Ranger, G3, and Xpress are all taking notice as well in their sales this year.

Well, this is a Vexus forum so yes, we are talking about them here

There's nothing revolutionary about putting a fiberglass bits in an aluminum boat. It's been done before by other boat companies, at least the console.

Now if the hull was glass-infused aluminum that would be revolutionary, but not really needed in a bass boat.

Yep... Really no different than Ranger promoting their aluminum boats by playing up "Pultruded fiberglass Reinforced Transom" in their advertising. A lot of fancy words to describe two blocks of fiberglass on the transom where the lower motor mount bolts are.

If you've crawled through a Vexus or even just watched the videos you'll see what they mean by a glass-infused aluminum boat. Starting with the fiberglass console, but we all know that it nothing proprietary with Vexus, as several other tin boat manufacturers have been doing this for years. What I see Vexus doing that is different from others, and from where they coin the phrase "glass infused aluminum hybrid" is the livewell, some storage compartments, and the cooler. They're using fiberglass rather than drop-in plastic or aluminum boxes.

Never seen another aluminum boat with fiberglass compartments, livewells, throttle panel, cooler, or trolling motor/bow panel either. Everyone else uses drop in plastic boxes for that stuff (minus the bow panel). Pricing on a 1980 is right on par with Ranger's 198p when you go option for option as well. IMO Vexus gives you the best options for your money. Just go look at a 198p and a 1980, the differences speak for themselves...

So when are all of you going to be starting your own boat company? Quick to criticize a company that has done so much in a very short amount of time and has more knowledge of the boat industry than all of us combined.

My thoughts exactly. So far, they have revolutionized the aluminum boat. Just can't please some people. The glass will probably be like something we have never seen before and people will criticize it as well.

Not saying that they’re not nice boats but pricing on their site begs to argue the affordability!

Both rigged the same but you get better TM and a Battery charger with the Vexus AND that's MSRP. Trackers price is the price. So, I'd say you are getting an excellent product and a bargin price.

Add graphs and amenities and it’s $35k. I wasn’t comparing, just voicing an opinion! Normal working man can’t afford a new boat!

I did. Both boats were rigged the same. You got a better TM and charger with the Vexus that come standard.
