    HB 7 in dash mount

Got a 2003 200 proxl. In dash opening only accommodates a 5 in graph. With HB, none of their 5s are networkable. Any ideas on how to get a 7 in to fit? Can’t cut hole bigger due to the gauges in the way

Can you sandwich a panel of 1/4" plastic behind your dash and mount the bigger graph to something like a RAM mount?

I kinda already have that. Got an 899 gimbal mount on it. Was looking for more of a recessed look

Make a rectangle spacer for the back of the unit thick enough that the outer edge of the unit will clear the edge of the gauges when installed. Cut a radius in the outer edges of the spacer to clear the gauges. The outer edge of your unit will only cover the edges of the gauges. I made a spacer out of some 1/2" cork I had laying around. I don't have Birds so you need to mock it up to see if you can live with the amount of overlap on the gauge face. If you color the spacer right it looks like part of the dash.
