set up on 1994 175zx skeeter
i have a 94 175zx skeeter with a 2005 175 mercury optimax with a 10' manual jack on the back turning a 24 pitch tempest plus; wondering what what height I should be looking at and what kind on #'s i should expect outta it. Since I switched over to a Merc optimax water pressure doesnt seem to be AS HIGH so keep that in mind ; wide open I'm still getting 16 lbs water pressure.

Should be a 65 mph rig ready to fish.
Skeeters like a lot of bow lift, that compressed air is what makes them run their best. That's going to be your key point in finding optimum.
With that note, most even numbered tempest props need some work done to find themselves, Steve or Mark should help out on that.
Height? You'll need to start here and find there, which takes some time, but no two boats are exactly identical, so take it too far, and bring it back, that's how you'll know what just right is.
I'd start at 3 1/2" and come up 1/4" at a time (with your full load) until you lose lift, speed or pressure. Then back down and you've got it just right.
