    Need some help guys

I am joining the Phoenix family in the very near future. Coming from Nitro in the past. So my question is. Do I get the 721 or the 921? How long does it take to get a new boat once the order is placed?

Any help and all comment will be welcome.

    Thanks.

Big difference in size and cost between those two rigs. You need to fish out of both if possible and decide. My .02 I don't think you can go wrong with either, but there's a lot of difference.

Get the biggest you can afford and store. If I had the room I would have a 921 but a 721 is all I can fit. Dont get me wrong, I love my boat. But they do say bigger is better lol

I LOVE my 721, but now that I've had it for 2 seasons I can't stop thinking about the 921. I would get the biggest you can afford. That being said, for the price, ride, etc., you cannot go wrong with the 721. It's a fantastic 21 foot boat (20'11"), and hauls ass.

921 for the front deck width.

If you fish any big water and can swing the price tag get a 21PHX but all Phoenix do very well in the rough stuff. Between the 921 & 721 I would go with the 921.

I guess that I don't understand the need for a 921. The 721 fits me perfectly and I like the speed and handling of it. I fish 2 off of the front deck all the time with no issues. I guess that's why they make more than one model, though...everyone has their own wants.

100% no offense, seriously no offense, because I love all Phoenix models and think they're all badazz. But I equally don't understand how anyone couldn't "understand the need for a 921". 921 or 21PHX have no weakness IMO. Only reason to not have one is cost (my reason-as I got a steal on my 920), space (and if that's the limitation, 721 won't fit either), or an owner is a small lake only fisherman. But it usually comes down to cost, and that's okay. 21 foot 9s have the same awesome handling as a 721. 721 Might be a couple mph faster, but that is dependent on set-up, driver, and conditions. Might not be. 21 foot 9s you can fish three off the front deck with no issues. It's just the top of the Phoenix food chain. Do you need one to catch fish? Hell nah- but if I'm spending someone else's money, I'm telling him to fish out of both and he will see the difference. Will it be worth the $$ to him? That's for him to decide. But I'd trade my boat, your boat, Drewtick's boat, anyone's boat straight up for a 921 if I was the owner and that was an option- and I LOOOOVE my 920. Sing to her sometimes when I'm rubbing that slick mist on her with the softest microfiber money can buy.

No offense taken. I guess that maybe I am thinking logically. If I lived on the Great Lakes, I would have a 921 or 21PHX for safety. When I have the TM down and I am fishing a stump field, I don't want any more boat than I need to get there safely because I need to be maneuverable. As long as the OP buys a Phoenix, he will be happy.

And I understand your point absolutely, and agree with the last sentence for sure.

    What's the money difference in a 721 and a 921 comparably equipped?

Probably $8-10k, the PHX would be even more.

I would say price is the big difference and where you're fishing. If its 9 months of great lakes or texas big water 921, but Ive never had a problem up here on Ontario in my 721. I love it this is my second one, I ordered it Sept 20th and It was done and not rigged at Wiedas the 7th of January.
