80lb 45in Fortrex mount position

Installing mount today. Just epoxy plugging the old maxxum holes......does the bottom plastic part of the mount need to be flush with the nose of the boat? Or should it stick out an inch or two?

Sam, I believe mine is either flush or maybe 1” past the nose on my outlaw. I can look this evening for ya.

just past the bow rail sam is fine. I try to reuse any existing holes i can as well.

Thanks fellas! Spook called me and his works perfect and is 1 inch past the nose.

Sam, not sure if you got to installing yours yet but mine is dead even with the nose of the boat and works just fine.
