    Federal 380 HST 99 grain

    Anyone tried Federal HST 99 grain in the 380?

    I don't shoot a 380 but I can tell you I've looked at all the data I could find, both open source and LEO only, and the two best defensive rounds on the market IMO are the Federal HST and the Speer Gold Dot. They both have great controlled expansion, penetration, retained weight even after punching threw barriers, and they hold up well to auto glass which is one of the toughest forms of media for a bullet to pass through. I would not hesitate to carry HSTs in a defensive weapon.
