    More on trees

Heard that all or most of the trees were cut down at kirwin, if so did they leave some stumps for fish habitat

I haven't heard but I will ask around or if I have time I'll take a drive and see if I can tell.

The odds are that they mowed them all down back in the 50's when it was built. That area of the state does not have many trees at all, there only would have been some near the river channel. Any stumps that were left are most likely covered with silt. But depending on water level you could have some flooded brush.

I can tell you that prior to 92-93 when the lake refilled they didn't cut them before it filled so there were lots of trees that were just allowed to fall on there own in the water. Recently they have cut some along the edge but the lake has been full for a while so I doubt there are any new cut downs that would be in the water.
