Should be interesting to see what the fiberglass boats are priced at if the aluminum ones are about the same as a glass already.....

Yep this is exactly what he had added. 2 poles 2 12 inch units and some other things. $55,000 just seems high for a boat with a 200. I know they are nice. Oh well to each there own they are paying for it.

Wow....but makes sense. But with that money you could be in a Skeeter zx225.

Yes, but you would be buying a Skeeter ZX225. Whats even worse is that's what NITRO's cost!

That 55k is for a decked out to the max tournament ready aluminum rig that will run around 63-65mph loaded down with 2 guys with the 200 G2 (my buddy has one) talks of 70 are silly unless it's just the captain and gas lol, but 63-65 with a very respectable ride quality is fine by me. All that said that same 55k could get you a new low end glass rig decked out or a bare bones nice glass boat, just plain and simple, if we are talking about buying new.

I took a test ride in the 2080 on Conroe and it was rough that day. I have co boated out of a ZX225 as well. I would rather be in a 2080 than a ZX225. The ride was way better and didn’t slap as bad. And the compartments were much better made as well. I rode in it while waiting for a ride in VX21. That 2080 really surprised me how well it was made and handled as I haven’t been in an aluminum boat since I owned a bass tracker in 2000

I have the 2021 2080 with 2 8 ft Blades, Man jackplate, which still needs some tuning, running a 23 fury prop. Full loaded with 2 adults over 250lbs and mine will run 65mph. I imagine if I get the jack plate set just right it will probably run 66 or 67 maybe up to 70. This is with the new Merc 200xp, 2 Garmine 93SV and force trolling motor, full livewells during a tournament this past weekend.
