    Back Drop

Has anyone played around with trying to create a back drop
to try and reduce the suns glare off the water from behind
their head units? I have a hard time seeing my graph when the boat is pointing toward the sun.

Nobody has a problem with the suns glare off the water from behind the MFD? Must have your units mounted in the center of the boat?

This is a common issue across the brands. I think folks just sort of deal with it.

pfisher. You hit the nail on the head. On my lake wind direction seems to follow the sun so when I'm pointed into the wind, I'm pointed at the sun. I don't like sun glasses so I live with it.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

Try this. ClearTouch Antiglare Screen Protector It is like the protector you put on a cell phone and you can get it in several Garmin model sizes. I haven't had it on the water yet but it killed all the glare I was getting from lights in my computer room. I bought it because it does away with finger prints on the touch screen and it does that. Amazon has them Mine is on a 93sv
