    Question Dayton Area Lodging Question

    Planning a trip to chick in late march and have never been in the area. looking for some recommendations for lodging. also places to avoid. any info is appreciated. thanks guys!!!!

    Not sure if you saw the other thread regarding this or not, however, in Dayton the Sleep Inn, Holiday Inn Express, or the Bluewater Resort and Marina are great places to stay (boater friendly). Bluewater has a ramp for those who stay there. The other two hotel options are both close to the Dayton Boat Dock.

    Dayton is on the upper end of Chick, a few miles below Watts Bar Dam. It's more of a wide river up there. If you are more interested in the mid to lower end (more of a lake), try Island Cove Marina in the Harrison area.

    I stayed at Blue Water last year in one of the loft lodges, and it was great. I would stay there again
