Sandersons Marine in Chester is gone!

Good luck to Lee in retirement. Richmon Marine was answering his number. Looks like they moved into his space.

Please tell me this is not true, You could not ask for a better dealer and or people to work with. I bought my Gambler (new) from Lee and Donna in Jan. 2001. Lee and his son Clay and their staff are the only one's that have ever worked on my 2001 Gambler / Merc over the years.. I wish only the best for Lee and Donna and cannot thank them enough. Happy retirement.

They merged businesses into one location. Not sure if Lee retired or not.

Lee is done for the most part to my understanding. For now they have merged in the same location. Robbie is also moving out of the current shop. Not sure where he is settling in but I am sure he will continue on with his business.

I picked up my boat before Christmas from Lee's shop. No one mentioned anything. I ran it after new years and the now the oil alarm was going off. Called and it was not Lee answering the phone and they answered as Richmond Marine. I am glad that he gets to retire but not happy with how I found out. I am hoping the new owner will take care of me.

Lee and Donna have indeed retired. They will be alternating between their home here in VA and a retirement home in Florida.

Lee assured me that the new owner has a great Mercury mechanic. I will be taking my boat to them in the spring for routine check-up.

No one can replace Lee and Donna! They are the best!!!

I was by Propeller Dynamics and they are set up and conducting business as normal in the old Ford Broyhill location in Hopewell.
They are now selling Xpress Boats.

Did Propeller Dynamics hire the techs from Sandersons? Or did they stay with Richmond marine?
I guess what I am asking is who are the service techs at P D.

Yea I was wondering the same thing. I took my boat there last year for a LU rebuild, oil pump and head on mine and the mechanic was great. I cant remember his name but would like to know where he is at. So without knowing i took my boat to Mare and Charlie was great as well. I thinkl i will stick with him.

I have been happy with Mare. Just long tow for a service. I have been taking up and dropping off one night and coming back couple nights later to pick up. 1 1/2 each way...
