Thanks Johnny for the kind words! The boat is actually a 94 model and the engine a 98.

Thanks Ronnie. The last perfect person died over 2000 years ago.

So one needs to be perfect to know how to make the word transom plural? Look, just picking at you. You are one of many on BBC that don't know how to use an apostrophe. Just don't look too close at my replies, likely many mistakes.

I have the decency to not point out others mistakes.
Insulting others obviously provides you a weird sense of gratification as you took the time to play grammar police on a boating forum.

Not sure, just part of the ongoing humor. Quite a bit of mocking and humor over on the Bullet forum about transoms. I think several including myself were amused at the "bad transom in Bullets" remark. Not considering how thin skinned some are I picked on scj a little too much. So I am apologizing to scj and at his suggestion going to go seek a life.

Ronnie, you don’t know me therefore you should stop with the name calling and insults. I don’t think you know the difference between humor and a insult.

Cute thread you posted on the Bullet section. You are starving for attention.

LOL! That was kind of the point I was making to the typo police Dean. How did typing and grammar discussions become so important as to warrant a correction. I would prefer to just have the boat conversations about our boats and enjoy the ride without the drama. But this is BBC right?

I think Gehol may need to stick to Bullet boats. Maybe allisons aren’t for everyone.

SCJ, I have already apologized once. I do not remember calling you a name. I have said more than once that I think Allison builds a very well built and very good looking boat. You are the one claiming transoms were rotting on Bullets and was keeping a bunch of repair shops busy repairing Bullet transoms. Several found that funny including me. I started picking at you having a little fun. Several on the Bullet board thought it funny. Big deal in that nobody cares how lousy you think a Bullet is built. The apostrophe mention was meant to be good natured. As I stated you are in good company in that many on BBC do not know the proper use of an apostrophe, so what. I also asked you to not look too close at my replies for they likely have numerous mistakes.
So for the second time, I am sorry I hurt your feelings and insulted you. I will not apologize a third time. Good day all.

Ronnie, the reference to thin skinned I am sure was aimed at me then immediately after you apologize. See the issue there?

I don’t need your apology. I know of several Bullets that had the transoms rebuilt. That obviously hit a nerve by how you responded and then you link this thread over on the Bullet page and one of your like minded Bullet buddies say I’m trolling and refer to me as not very bright.
As I said, you do not know me and the last thing I am is thin skinned. You, on the other hand have showed me your character and how you get your enjoyment.

To the OP, sorry to derail your thread.

I hate to even say this but I did find a boat I really like and it's a .......................you guessed it, a Bullet Talked to the owner, he bought it new in 2007, 390 hours on the 250 Pro XS, less than a month ago he put a new Sport Master LU and new Ultrex. It's a 2007 21 XDC, a 9" Lowrance HDS at the front and a 12" HDS at the console. According to him he just spent around $7000 for the LU and Ultrex so he's not coming off the price which is $33,000, but I need to stay at $30,000. Also has new batteries and rubber on the trailer. How are these boats in rough water? I'm guessing not as good as a Triton or Ranger but I know the quality of a Bullet and Allison are way above the mass produced boats. I might have posted it but another member messaged me about his XB21 but he has to get some pictures and I don't know if he's 100% on selling it. If there's a chance he would, I'm going to wait. May cost me a boat or 2 but I'm willing to wait if there's a chance I could get a XB21 in my price range.

Here's a couple pics of the Bullet. It also matches my Tundra so there's that.

Went by Tri-County Marine this afternoon just to see if they had something that wasn't on their website and got to see this peach. 2002 Norris Craft 2000 XLDVEE. This boat has been in storage for several years, has 50 hours on it and honestly looks brand new, didn't see any flaws in it. Not what I'm looking for but very cool to see an old Norris Craft in this condition. This boat use to belong to the owner of Tri-County Marine and then he sold it to an older guy that apparently never used it. I started bass fishing in the early 80s and being in east Tennessee, all you saw were Norris Crafts, Allisons, and Bullets. You might see a Ranger or Stratos but those 3 were the boats to have. About 10 years ago and guy I knew pretty good at the time had a Norris Craft speed boat, not sure of the model but it had 2 seats, one in front of the other. The guy could drive a boat and use to race them or I would have never gotten in the boat with him. Anyways, I saw 105 on the GPS and it felt like the boat was going to fly apart. I know he had a nitrous tank in the boat but I don't think he hit it. He could tell I was a little rattled when we got back to the dock and he was laughing and said that it would do better than that. I like to go fast but it was not a good ride.

The 21' Bullet is a great riding boat. There is only one boat that can top it when she gets to rolling.
