    Drag issue with Bantam MGL

When I back off the drag completely off there is still some significant resistance on the spool. This doesn’t affect fishing but there are times when I am tying on a lure or when I’m putting new line on that I like the drag loose enough that I can strip line off the spool easily. Any idea what might cause this. It’s been this way since I bought it. I don’t want to return it or send it in for warranty work.

Possible that the drag star was not seated all the way down when they put it together.
