    USA Monofilament

Seems like everyone uses braid and fluoro all the time any more. Any one still use mono? If so, what presentations do you use it on?

I pretty much use it for everything, other than when bass are hitting a suspending jerkbait on the pause.

I use it on Spinnerbaits/chatterbaits, shallow crankbaits (when I’m forced to use those lol) and any type of floating jerkbait.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one, because I basically use it for everything too I use braid occasionally and don't think I've ever thrown fluoro

Only use it for ultralite spinning reels for smallies and trout, which I don’t do much. Braid, braid, braid for everything else!

Braid for flipping, frogging, and swim jigs in heavy cover. Everything else is rigged with Izorline Platinum, which is a copolymer.

Mono on everything unless I’m fishing grass then braid. Did the flouro thing and went back to mono and catch just as many or more fish. Plus I save a lot of money. Suffix mono is what I use.

I still use Trilene Big Game and Stren on everything. Golden Stren is great line for jigs; bass, walleye, or panfish and has been for many years. Mississippi River fish don't care if its gold.

I use mono when the fish are slapping at Baits and my hook up ratio is bad. I usually have braid in everything but when I’m reacting too fast the stretch of mono helps.

I used to use Stren clear blue years ago then made the switch to Big Game. It’s the only mono I use when I use it.
