    2011 1860 VS

    Looking at this boat for a friend. It has a 140 Suzuki outboard on it with low hours. Your thoughts on this combination?

    Very nice hull and an engine with strong reputation for reliability. Not as many service options as other brands though, depending upon location.

    I had a 2008 1860 with Yamaha F150 and a 2015 1850 with a Mercury 150 4S. I felt the 1860 w/F150 was under powered. Should of had the 175. The mercury 150 4S was ok. Better than the Yamaha. IMHO I think that rig with a 140 is underpowered. I’ve seen a few with the Suzuki 175’s on them as that’s what the hull is rated for, but that hull should be rated for a 200.
