I’ve got a 2006 225 hpdi on a pontoon that I’d like to try putting a 250hpdi ecm on. It seems to me that it would turn it into a 250. From what I can tell they have the same hardware. Does anyone have experience with this?

Plug and Play
Yes it will plug and play but it will not help as a matter of fact it will hurt your performance. The 225 and 250 or different as far as port timing
