depth reading while on plane
I have a 2015 G3 Eagle Talon 19 DLX. I am wondering if anyone is using an alumaducer or any other way to keep depth reading while on plane?

I get readings on my Lowe 17 ft. up to 25/30 mph which is pretty much top end. I have my t'ducer mounted on the stern. I believe that it is all in the placement of the transducer. Avoiding the strakes; proper height and angle have a lot to do with it.
That said, my 16 ft G3's transducers do not read over about 10/12 mph. I doubt that the brand has anything to do with it. It just depends on where the transducer was placed on installation.

Thank you, I have a side imaging transducer so I dont want to drop that to far and risk ripping it off. Just like you as soon as i get past 10,ph i lose reading.

I have the same boat and pretty much the same as you FWIW

If you are lucky enough to have some flexibility on your mounting, you might try lowering, and/or tilting the t'ducer somewhat. I doubt that the difference between good readings and bad is more than a 1/2 inch of positioning.
