How much better the new MEGA SI + is better then old MEGA SI?

I havent found any side by side CLEAR indications its night and day better, but since Im in the market for a new unit, I went with the new Mega+. I never had the G2 Mega, so I cannot compare, but Id assume its better than before. Ive seen a FEW people say its better, but not many...

Humminbird says the new Mega+ has 20% more definition. But we will see. I'm waiting on my gn2 Solix's to come in. Oh and I'm waiting on spring too.

I have been running a Helix 10 G1 SI on the console and a Helix 10 G1 DI on the bow for almost two years(linked by ethernet). Replaced the G1 SI on the bow with a G3 SI this week. The G3 SI and DI images from the new unit are significantly better than the G1 I have been running. The G1s images were good, but the G3 provides more definition. 2D looks good also. Still experimenting with it.
