I went out yesterday afternoon, air temp 65 and no wind. Made a couple of passes at 88 mph on the limiter with 1.75 gears and fished for a while. Great to get out of the house and float for a while. Chris, come out and be my third hand to install the 1.62 sporty.

New Mexico, but I got it covered as my wife can hit the ignition key if needed. Have you ever fished the Big Bass Splash on Sam Rayburn? I just saw the info on it and looks like a fun time.

I've been looking into it and have been told there should be between 3000 and 4000 boats. Is the lake big enough for that.

You showed some pics of nice bass this last year, where are you fishing? We are going to do some type of road trip to TX and spend a few days trying to catch bass. Not sure where yet but looking at Choke Canyon, Fork, Alan Henry, or maybe Amastead unless some other body of water can be suggested.

We gave up on Rayburn that week, to many boats and lodging was almost impossible.

If you come I will put you on fish! Toledo bend is my favorite place if I get to chose but I showed you pics from lake Fayette and gautalupe river. If you really want to make a trip we can head down to falcon or or up north to fork. I’m maybe a hour from falcon right now deer hunting

Dean I have been a few times since the first of the year. Floodgates have been open on the old TN River for weeks. That’s not really a bad thing but it makes it a bit more challenging to find them. I have managed some good smallies on big jigs on vertical banks and even found some pretty good large heads on some shell humps last time out. Water temps dictate a super slow presentation though. My style of fishing.

Johnny, I also fish slow most of the time. I think I have decided on Grand Lake as I have a friend there that can put us up for the week. That being said I would love to fish all of those TX lakes as well as the Tn river lakes. I was at Florence Al back in 08 for a Stroker rally, what a great body of water. Spent 99 percent of my time learning how to drive the new Stroker.
