Who fishs the ned rig? Power Ned?

I'm not a light line guy and like to finnesse some smallies... I made these in 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 with a 1/0 2X super needlepoint hook. I wanted 2 keeper barbs to keep the plastic in place... Nothing will float a ned rig better than a ball head as long as there is no lead on the collar to pull it down. I like how this looks like a minnow eating much better than the other heads I have seen.

Thanks... The special thing about these is the 2X strong hooks... They are not super thick, But specially tempered/forged. Sticky sharp w/o any flex. The eye/leg of the hook is shorter leaving a larger bite on the hook gap.

Those look good. Funny I fished that over 10 years ago using a 1/2 Senko. Used to watch fish picking up the bait on my lake when bedding. They would get one end or the other. Started using 1/2 and they would inhale all of it. Made me a lot of money over the years. Used to drive Cheetam Crazy watching me fish it. The Ned shows them something different than they are used to seeing.

Look really good. That big eye makes it look like a big bulging eyed insect. Bring a couple to the swap meet.

Will a trd stand up a 3/8 oz or is it too heavy?

Easily on a round head with no lead on the collar... A 2 year old could turn a 16lb bowling ball over, Where it could not turn a 10lb weight. Round lead has no keel... So a floating bait will lift it easily.

Actually, The larger diameter, longer shank hook and extra bait keeper adds weight. It does not float up as easily as the ned head.... But that is a trade off for the stronger hook and bait keeper. I might bring some to the swap meet... Might not.
