    Bill's Barbecue closes for good......

    Figured it would have closed before now but it finally did. The food went downhill when Bill's health went south and he was not able to be out there everyday. His new wife made drastic changes and it was the downfall. I hate it for all those who have supported Bill's since day one like myself.

    Hate to hear that...I heard she was tough to deal with. I’m sure Parker’s will pick up the slack.

    Marty's is pretty darn good. Only thing i have found is they are adding a little spice to the fried chicken or something. It just does not taste like fried chicken is suppose to here in eastern NC. Parking lot is small and seating is limited to about 20-30 people max i would guess. They stay pretty busy and today it was packed both times i went by there. Lawrence has a picture of Marty hanging above the counter in there.
